Description Cantine Battifarano – Akratos Rosato Fresh flowers and fruit for a bright and full-bodied rosé obtained from Primitivo grapes left to macerate for at least twenty-four hours. Primitivo was the first red grape to be harvested in Southern Italy and traditionally started the harvest festival. Akratos Rosato is a wine with a celebratory soul, fresh but persistent on the palate, which bears the name of that pure oinos, without the addition of water, reserved for the god Dionysus by the ancient Greeks who have left deep traces in the Battifarano estate. Denomination Matera DOC Type Rosé Grapes Primitivo Food Pairings Aperitifs, white meats, first courses. Tasting Notes Fresh, sweet and typical.
